The City of San Diego’s $3 billion Pure Water Program is a multi-phased program that will provide one-third of San Diego’s water supply locally by 2035. NOVA provided services in support of required pre-design efforts necessary to facilitate delivery of 15 mgd average annual daily flow (AADF) of purified water to either the San Vicente Reservoir, Miramar Reservoir, or Lake Murray, and the production of an additional 15 mgd AADF of purified water.

NOVA Engineering worked on the North City Advanced Purification Facility (San Vicente Reservoir), North City Advanced Purification Facility (Miramar Reservoir), North City Water Reclamation Plant Expansion, and Morena Pump Station. In support of these efforts, NOVA Engineering provided Civil Engineering, Surveying and Mapping services, as well as preparing the required plat and legal documents. NOVA Engineering also provided 10% and 30% level design of the permanent storm water best management practice (BMP) facilities and prepared the yard piping plans
